In August of 2010, Allan Share, a 31-year veteran of the Health and Wellness industry, took over as President of the Day Spa Association (DSA) and the International Medical Spa Association (IMSA), now both under the SIA umbrella.
“I don’t know where the years have gone! I can honestly say I love being in our business.  I  look forward to speaking with wellness practitioners every day, attending over 20 trade events a year and continuing to grow my knowledge of Spa,” says Allan. After selling his previous businesses, he adds, “there’s not another industry in which I care to spend time. This industry is a passion for me, everyday I can’t wait to speak to those in the spa channel.”

Allan’s previous companies include New Life Systems and Lotus Touch. Both companies were sold to Scrip Companies (owners of Scrip/HESSCO, Massage Warehouse, Bodyworkmall and others) in 2007. He continued on for three years as Director of Spa Operations, before taking over the Association in 2010.
Allan is an advisor to many companies in our industry and is also co-owner of an educational software company producing math and science programs for K-12, college and planetariums around the world. He is an advisor to MedEsthetics magazine and mentors several up and comers in our industry.
